How can I enable / disable 'Push Notifications'?
'Push notifications' are pieces of information that are pushed to your device to make you aware of something.
They are free and you know who they are coming from, as you have downloaded The Barclays app, and it will be labelled as Barclays.
You can enable / disable Push Notifications by completing the following steps.
Enable Push notifications
From your Barclays app 'Home' screen:
- Tap 'More'
- Tap 'Settings'
- Tap 'Enable push notifications'
- Toggle the Push notification slider to 'On'
- Push notifications have now been enabled
Disable Push notifications
- If you need to disable Push notifications for a period of time, you just need to toggle the slider to 'Off'
- Tap 'OK'
- Push notifications have now been disabled
