How can I personalise the Contactless Payment Limit on my Sterling Debit Card?
You can set a personalised Contactless Payment Limit on your Sterling Debit Card.
This limit can be from £5 upto £100, in multiples of £5.
Alternately, you can turn off Contactless Payments if they don’t want access to this service.
You can self-serve via Barclays app by completing the following steps:
From your Barclays app 'Home' screen:
- Select Cards
- Select / swipe to the card that is to be update
- Under 'spending controls', select ‘Contactless Limit’
- Either toggle off Contactless Payments or set the contactless limit (increments of £5)
- Select ‘Save’ to save preferences
