What are debit cards?

Debit cards allow you to pay for goods in shops and withdraw money at cash machines. The money is automatically taken or reserved from your current account when you use your debit card, so you must have funds in your account or an agreed overdraft to cover your transactions.

Contactless Debit Cards are also available subject to status.
