What is the Overdraft(s) and Emergency Borrowing alert?
This alert keeps you informed if you pass into any Overdraft and/or Emergency Borrowing limits which will result in charges to your account. Subject to the Overdraft and Emergency Borrowing limits on the account you could receive alerts telling you:
- when there are insufficient funds in your account to cover a transaction and how to avoid the fee
- if you are regularly facing borrowing fees, with options on how to reduce them
To set up Barclays Notification Preferences:
1. Select the blue drop down arrow on the top right corner (under your name)
2. Navigate to Communication Preferences and select Notification Preferences
3. Follow the on screen instructions to set up your notification alerts
